Christmas update and the Runecats Developer Program

Today the Christmas update was released to get you into the festive mood!
Also the Runecats Developer Program is also now out,  the RDP allows web developers, programmers and graphic designers to work on widgets, adons and skins ready for the release of Runecats Explorer 1.8 next year.

As Runecats opens other software to developers content will be added to the program to help developers develop for our software!

Chritsmas update and RuneTunes

Today is Runecats yearly Christmas update which happens every year on the 20th December, as it's Christmas we also like to give you something to go with the update. This year we have updated the RuneTunes page and added 3 Christmas RuneTunes, feel free to download them as they are free of charge!

Behind the scenes

Runecats have lots of new products which are waiting to appear in the upcoming months. We have new products, products for new platforms and new versions of exsisting products, and to top all of that the new version of Runecats Explorer comes out in 2010 and 2010 is just around the corner!

We are also working on a new RuneTunes album, 2010 is going to be a product-full month!

RuneText2, RuneWeb2 and RCDM2

Today RuneText2, RuneWeb2 and RCDM2 have been released to the public; each product has had visual enhancements as well as many new features. Check out the product pages of each to find out more about the new features.

In other news;
The Runecats Facebook page has also now been officially opened to the public.
A report bug feature has been added to the beta page. (This is for everyone, not just beta testers)
The Pre:RBE system has been opened for the Pre Beta testers who have been lacking a system.

Website Update.

As you may have noticed the Runecats website has had a complete make over again, however unlike before this time it was chosen by the public, Runecats had not only asked our beta testers, programmers and other staff, but we also asked you. Runecats asked many people what they would like the Runecats website to look, Runecats then made a few themes and asked what people thought of them, we then had a poll with the remaining two themes on the forum which decided on the theme that would be used, and that is the one you see before you.

Website makeovers.

As you may have noticed we have updated the Runecats website changing it layout dramatically and changing a lot of the graphics, the website now loads slightly faster to as a result of this. RuneSearch has also had a makeover as it hasn't been updated in a long time, it now looks and loads better than before and is upto date and has no old or dead links.

Christmas Brings new website, new browser and new fun - New website layout and Runecats Explorer Zeox!

As you may have noticed the website has not only been made slightly festive, but the whole website layout has been changed, not only making it look much better, but the website should load much faster now. We have been mainly focusing on speed but we have also been able to make it much better, but not to different so you get lost. Now to the news you want; Runecats Explorer Zeox is out now! This is our Christmas present from us to you! Runecats Explorer Zeox like our new site it’s faster and prettier than ever before. Runecats Explorer Velo

These past 2 months we have been improving our websites, this is because we have been planning the release of the new Runecats Explorer version. Runecats Explorer Velo is much better than V1.4 in almost every way, the first thing you will notices is that the graphics are much better on this version, The pop-up menu bar has been replaced by a Pop-Out menu bar so it isn't open in the background, so REV will open faster. We noticed that many of you didn't like that fact that the MiniWeb Tab (Google Tab) wasn't able to close, it is now closable, The MiniWeb Tab is also slightly transparent so you are able to see the main browser though it, the Browser itself is now up-to 10 times faster than previous versions on the web, and the application it's self loads faster to.
We hope you enjoy the improvements.

Layout and Theme Updates

Those of you who read the Runecats blog would have known that the green graphics were only temporary, Today Runecats has realised the new and final theme. We are sure you will all agree that the green Graphics were quite informal and our new theme is more formal and also easier to navigate.

Runecats doesn't often mention graphic updates much anymore as it's not an important update but we feel this update is more important, we have added darkish green graphics which we are sure you will all find a lot more fresh than our previous graphics.

 In the past few months Runecats have been working to finish Runecats Explorer V1.4 (RE1.4), we have finally finsihed fixing all bugs and problems with it so it is finally out to the public. We hope you will like it's features and new design.

The Runecats Master computer is down, We have been working to fix it rather than make updates at the moment. Also we can't make major updates at the moment as it is down. We hope it will be up and running as it has been down for a few weeks now!

Major updates
yesterday we finished making a new website g0th.co.nr and today we have sorted out any bugs so click on it to visit it enjoy!
we have changed the layout on RuneSearch so it loads faster because we believe that the faster it loads the better it would be a homepage we have also changed the layout of runecats (here) so its easier to use and load! Map fixed
